A Line Has Two

Saturday May 17, 2008 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Programme:

In God’s Esperanto [world premiere]
A Line Has Two
Damien Ricketson (music), Christopher Wallace-Crabbe (poetry)

A Line Has Two is a striking sonic-literary spectacle by composer Damien Ricketson and renowned poet Christopher Wallace-Crabbe.

Following a sell out show at the Sydney Opera House where the work was described by the press as a “a rich jewel-box of sonic textures”, A Line Has Two explores the theme of impermanence and the passing of time.

A Line Has Two is preceded by In God’s Esperanto, a world-premiere work that revives ancient languages in an ironic search for universal communication.
