DESCRIPTION

Great art can take the specifics of time and context and transmogrify them into something deeper, more universal, and perhaps even eternal. Come together with Ensemble Offspring to hear Frederic Rzewki’s settings of texts by Samuel Melville speak directly to the soul – one person’s pain, suffering and fight becoming another’s. At the heart of this profound work of art is a message of promise and hope. In these challenging times when we have been apart for so long, what better celebration of life, art and interconnection is there than real, live music-making, binding us together in shared feelings and thoughts.
